Studies have shown that green schools with elements like natural light and quality indoor air raise students’ test scores and reduce absenteeism.

As found in a study by Heschong Mahone Group, the table to the left demostrates the improved scores of three sample schools in the areas of Reading and Math after the introduction of increased natural light to the classrooms.
